Dear Sam et al.,

I certainly have noticed those great trees and the wonderful oaks along
Third and the (?)plane trees or whatever they are along Washington and
Jackson! They look terrific. 

Bob Perrin, the Portland landscape architect who designed this configuration
for the Downtown Revitalization, must be justly proud when he visits Moscow
almost 20 years after.

You, too, Sam, should feel proud because of your work on the Downtown
Revitalization when you were on the Council back then... Thanks again for
your excellent service.
