The final show of Moscow Community Theatre=92s 21st Anniversary Season =

Man of LaMancha, by Dale Wasserman, Music by Mitch Leigh, Lyrics by Joe =
Dorion and by special arrangement with Tamms-Witmark.
The show opens March 27th and runs through April 5th 1998.
Show dates and times are: Friday March 27, Saturday March 28/ Friday =
April 3, Saturday April 4 curtain at 7:30PM. Sunday March 29 & Sunday =
April 5 Curtain is 2:00 PM.
Ticket prices are : $ 8.00 Adults & $ 5.00 Student/Senior Citizen
Tickets are available at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce beginning March =
16 and at the door the night of the show. Doors open at 6:45 PM. Friday =
and Saturday and at 1:15 PM Sundays. =20
All shows are in the Moscow High School Auditorium.
The Man of LaMancha, written by Dale Wasserman in the 1960=92s, remains =
timeless with it=92s focus on the strength of the human spirit. MCT=92s =
production may surprise some Palouse residents who have seen other =
versions of the show. Where many directors depend on the popular songs =
to carry the show, this production focuses on the struggle of good and =
evil, the source of hope and the path of destruction. There will be a =
very evil influence working in the prison with only normal human beings =
provided to battle it. The audience will be able to observe a series of =
miracles produced by people much like them. Director Angle Katen stated. =
"Wasserman=92s emphasis on the source of spiritual strength and the =
quest to find it fits hand in hand with the intellectual investigations =
of Joseph Campbell and the personal search outlined by such writers as =
Deepak Chopra and Wayne W. Dyer. It is a perfect show for those who find =
themselves wondering if there is more to life than what we can see or =
have been told to see.
The principal parts will be played by:
Aldonza by Maria S. Dudzak, a UI student at the Lionel Hampton School of =
Music.
Cervantes by Mark Leeper Executive Director of the Disability Action =
Center of Moscow.
Sancho Panza by Joe Tassinari an employee at Rosauers in Moscow.
The Duke will be Sam Hunter, a Sophomore at Logos School.
Supporting cast members are: Jim McProud, Doug Whitney, John Sayers, =
Elizabeth Dahle, Patrick Connor, Andriette Boersema-Pieron, Troy =
Sprenke, Kyle Jentrees, Hannah Boersema, Geoffrey Whitney, and Karl =
Kiilsgaard Jr.
The Seville Sound Machine is comprised of: Tony Mengelkamp as Musical =
Director, Kyle Jentrees-Guitar, Brenda Swanson-Flute, Shirley =
Ringo-Clarinet, and Matt Riggs-Percussion.
