At last night's special city council meeting about the new pool, there
was a question and answer sheet handed out. One question concerned the
school districts participation, The answer given indicated the district
wanted pool incorporated in a current building and that we were concerned
about transporting 3000 students to a separate pool.
This answer was a deliberate lie on the part of one or two committee
members. The board never discussed any concern with bussing students to a
pool. The board never discussed having the pool incorporated into a
current building. Not only are these statement lies, but they are stupid
lies.
The lies given in the question and answer sheet calls into question
the entire presentation made to the city. How many other lies have been
told to further personal gains? I call on the city council to reject the
committee's report for not being able to tell what is true fact and what is
personal fabrication.
