The Latah County Adult Literacy Council is looking for someone to coordinate
its student/tutor program, keep records on the Council's
tutoring activities and identify and help write grants which might be
applicable to the Council's work. The LCALD is a non-profit organization
which provides free adult literacy training in the areas of ABE (Adult Basic
Education) and ESL (English as a Second Language).

In the past, this position (which demands about 5 hours of work per week),
was strictly on a volunteer basis. Currently, the Council has funds to
provide a $200 per month stipend to the Coordinator.
Funding is available from April - June 1998 and from September 1998 - March
1999.
