I'm from Emmett. Nice town. Changed alot with the growth of
Boise (20 mi away). Now its a bedroom community for the city.
Not a good change overall. School population problems, although
the tax base has grown b/c of the housing. But there are no
new businesses to speak of. The saw mill is down to about 20%
of what it was when I was in school. Basically a pretty decentralized
community with most folks living there, but working elsewhere.

Very little support for youth activities outside of hs sports
and church groups. These don't cover the majority of kids. Not
surprised that there's a high teen preg. rate.
