JACK, YOU WERE ELOQUENT!! It takes a while to realize the value of a place
like Moscow for some of us. When I was 25 and lived in Pullman (my husband
was a student at WSU) I thought I had come to the end of the earth. I had
lived in Honolulu and San Francisco--In my 30s we lived in Dallas and New
Jersey. Now I feel so fortunate to have been able to return to spend my 40s
and 50s here in such a wonderful place. Some of us eventually learn what is
important, while some always know, and others never learn.
