Last night, at the welcoming dinner given by the Mosow Sister City
Assocition for Ana Julia Castillo de Lopez, the Nicaraguan teacher who will
be in Moscow for 8 months to study English, Mayor Comstock did a wonderful
thing. He warmly welcomed Ana Julia on behalf of the citizens of Moscow and
presented her with a small gift from the City. The fact that he did it in
Spanish, Ana Julia's native language, added so much and made her feel very
much at home. Thanks, Marshall for that extra-special touch.
