That's true too, but the trucking Lobby will tell you that with more axles
the weight is distributed out so "wear & tear" is lessened.

I think Sen. Schroeder said it best when he asked about what happens when a
129K lb truck is completely on a bridge designed for a max load of 80K. The
Lobby said that the bridges were designed to carry more weight than the Max
load, but nobody knows how much of a heavier load the bridge can take.

Fix the Goat Trail first, then talk about higher weights.
