Just an update on the celebration/thank you gathering at the 1912
MHS/Whitworth Building this Sunday, February 8, from 2-4 P.M.:
It's time to congregate and celebrate...and, of course, take a look at the
"BEFORE" status of our civic purchase. There's much to do before this great
building can return to a life of full civic usefulness but we have taken the
first step!
Please join the Mayor and City Council in thanking the many donors and
supporters who made the purchase possible. Bring your favorite dessert to
share along with a clearly printed recipe and the source of the recipe for
inclusion in a recipe book that will be published as a fund raiser for the
building's future uses.
Even though there's still tons more to do (!), join us Sunday to celebrate
this milestone!
