Who can enlighten us about this takings bill, HB487? What will this
really do? Does this mean that quiet neighborhoods will have no
protection if someone wants to open a nightclub or quick stop? Does this
mean that the city will have to pay me to not keep pigs in my front yard?

Another important question is, who stands to gain from this bill? Who's
behind it, who is going to make loads of money and how, if this thing
becomes law?

When is this bill scheduled for hearings, and who is planning
on testifying?

I'm looking for some leadership from our Boise people on this. I want to
get out the word but I'm not sure what this bill really means. If
its as bad as I think, a grassroots movement should be able to kill it
dead.
