Just a brief response to Tom Trail's comment that bias "is in the eye
of the beholder." I submit that it is in the mind of the creator
(lower case "c" intended). My observation was not, nor was it
intended to be, a derogatory statement. We all have biases. And that
certainly includes me. My point was simply this: Tom's view of the
Legislature would certainly be different from , say, Ken Robison's.
Both are members of the House but each sees the actions of the House
(and the Legislature) from different perspectives. And those
different perspectives can be beneficial to all of us. I applaud Tom
for his reports and I look forward to reading them. Just as I try
not to rely on a single news source for my news, I believe that
consideration of a variety of views helps pave the path to truth.
Also I think that is the principle on which Vision2020 operates.
And your contributions, Tom, are helping to keep that principle in
operation, and I do appreciate them.
