Praise for 6th St. bike path

I've read some criticism of the Sixth St. bike path and would offer this
opinion.
I too was initially skeptical of the design of the path, particularly
eastbound, where for awhile the bike lane is actually between car lanes.

I ride the path at least once each day, often more, and must say that in
practice I've found it works very well. Cars, knowing where they are
supposed to be, leave you alone, and I've had no one cut me off. I've been
pleasantly surprised at how well it works. It only gets a bit dicey when
the paint wears off.
