How safe are Moscow's streets and crosswalks for bicyclists and
pedestrians?
What are the rules governing sharing the road between cars, bikes,
and walkers?
What can we do if the rules are broken?
If you are interested in the answers to these and other related
questions, please come to the free public forum sponsored by Moscow Vision
2020 and the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute: "How Safe Are Our
Sidewalks and Crosswalks?".
The forum will be held at the Moscow Community Center, at Third
and Washington Streets, at 7:30pm on Tuesday, May 27.
Bring your comments, concerns and questions for a panel discussion
about the bicycles, pedestrians, and cars sharing Moscow's roads. The
panelists will include: Chief of Police Dan Weaver, City Council
President Pam Palmer, Chair of the Moscow Advisory Bicycle Commission
Diane Prorak, Director of the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute
Tom Lamar, and Moscow City Attorney Randy Fife.
If you use the roads in Moscow, this forum is for you.
