The more I have thought about it, the more I believe a
non-binding referendum would be appropriate in this
situation. This is one of the few ways I believe could
force the *research* and extensive media exposure
neccessary for the public to come to judgement.
Right now, there are a whole lot of values
chasing too few facts. The residents of Latah Co.
deserve to know the potential growth figures (in units
and area) with/without the proposed ordinance.
