Cameron, Office Depot, rural residential

Does anyone know if the Camerons are willing to put the proposed open
space in a land trust to preserve it? If Kay's interpretation of things is
correct, perhaps the Camerons' mother would have benefitted from a land
trust arrangement. It's not too late for their plan though.

Second, I'm disturbed by the proposed rezoning for the Office Depot west
of Walmart. There really is available space in the Eastside Marketplace,
and that is not what I envisioned viewing as I bike along the Chipman
Trail. Has anyone been following the progression of decision-making
regarding that property?

Finally, thanks to Dennis Geist for making available the rural residential
proposal. We all need to look at it carefully. A good deal of labor and
thinking has already gone into this, and I continue to applaud the county
for their genuine community-based approach to planning.
