I think that what's sauce for the goose should also be
sauce for the gander. Mr. Maxwell takes Lori Keenan to
task for her hyperbolic signature line about libraries
being "free," then in a perfect example of the "do what
I say, not what I do" mentality, proceeds to give us his
example of hyperbole with the "one checks feeds the government"
line. I daresay that, although he feels that he and his
family are taxed too heavily, a moot point at best,
if he is married with dependents then one of the two
paychecks he and his spouse bring home almost certainly
does *not* go to the government.
