Moscow Vision 2020 is sponsoring a public forum on Wednesday, October 2,
at 7pm. The forum, to be held at the upstairs conference room at the
Daily News office on Jackson Street in Moscow, will feature Mark Trahant,
new Editor/Publisher of the Daily News.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss:
the role of the newspaper in the community AND
coverage of planning, growth, and development issues AND
communication alternatives.
Please bring questions. Also, please consider what changes we
could suggest to Trahant for the Daily News to make the paper more
responsive to, and representative of, the real core issues of our
community.
An earlier option that we discussed was the possibility of
requesting space for a monthly column by 2020 members on growth issues.
Does anyone want to pursue that option with Trahant?
Please take this opportunity to visit with the new editor--who
gives every indication of taking his journalistic role in the community
very seriously.
