Dear Visionaries,

Forgive me for promoting a program on the list, but the news release
never made it into any paper, as far as I could tell. Many of you
will find this work interesting.

Tonight, at 7:00 p.m. in the UI Student Union Vandal Lounge, retired
sociologist, Latin American specialist, and artist, Carol Andreas,
will be making a presentation about her torn paper collages on
exhibit this week only at the SUB.

I have seen the exhibit. The exhibit is a gripping expression of
Dr. Andreas's autobiography, and she is a very talented (although new)
artist. She spent decades as an activist, and much of it in South
America (Chile, Peru, Equador, etc.), is the author of several books
and articles on the global economy, women and feminism, and labor
struggles.

I know it is late notice, but you will not be disappointed if you come.

Best,
Susan
