Those of you who are interested in community planning and in attracting
participation in that process are invited to the Pullman Planning Fair,
tonight, July 18 at 7:00 PM in Reany Park.

This event is an open-house format (or Fair) gathering of groups that are
currently working on plans and projects that affect Pullman. Participants
will include: the Pullman Planning Commission, the WSU planning office,
PCEI, the Pullman Civic Trust, the Geystone Foundation, the Pullman Chamber
of Commerce Economic Development Committee, and the R/UDAT Steering Committee.

The R/DAT Steering Committee is a recently formed group that is preparing an
application to the American Institute of Architects to have AIA send a Rural
/ Urban Design Assistance (R/UDAT) team to Pullman to help with the
development of a transportation plan that will enhance the economic
vitality, beauty, and livability of Pullman.

The Pullman Planning Fair is organized by the PCEI Community Watch Project
with considerable help from the participating organizations.

Free ice cream will be available.

Come get your "licks" in for a more livable Pullman and experience the
region's first community planning fair.
