Or, try finding one at Follett Mountain Sports, a bike shop. When I
asked why they didn't have a bike rack I was told that I could lean
my bike against the building. I said I couldn't lock it to the
building and was told that I could bring it inside. While this may
work sometimes, what if the shop is crowded? What if I have a
trailer? What if I don't want to hassle with the door/bike
interface? etc. I mentioned that it might be a good idea to have a
bike rack, if nothing else as a good example to other businesses, and
left. Haven't been back since.
