The City of Moscow will sponsor its annual Household Hazardous Waste Day
on Saturday, April 27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 50 volunteers are needed
to help with the safe disposal of unwanted paints, motor oil, solvents
and other toxic household chemicals.
Volunteers will receive safety suits, training, lunch, and snacks.
There are 2 shifts, 7:30 a.m. to noon, and 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The
first 30 minutes are for suiting up and a mandatory safety meeting.
If you're interested in helping, please call Carrie at the Recycling
Center, 882-2925, as soon as possible.
As of Thursday, only about 20 volunteers had signed up.
