The Coalition for Central America will celebrate its 10th anniversary
on Sunday, Feb. 25, with a potluck starting at 5 p.m. at the Moscow
Community Center.
The guest speaker will be Francisco Campbell, who was a participant in
the 1983 Borah Symposium. He is now vice-rector general of the newest
university in Latin America on the Atlatntic Coast of Nicaragua. The
university hopes to encourage sustainable use of the region's forests,
minerals and fisheries; hence, he is very interested in talking about
potential student and faculty exchanges with UI programs in those disciplines.
Many on these lists have been supporters of the Coalition in the past, as
donors, volunteers and black-bean burrito eaters at the Renaissance Fair.
Please join us on Sunday. For more information, call 883-0898 or write
