I like the idea of a county-wide survey of important "natural areas" (for
want of a better word. To that survey should be added the "sensitive
areas" that should not be built on because they are erosive, they are
wetlands, etc. Then we need to discuss how to maintain/protect these
areas; and what kinds of development are appropriate in and around these
areas.

This sounds like a great place to involve the fledgling Latah County Land
Trust.
