The Latah County Planning Commission will hold a public workshop Wednesday,
Jan. 31, at 7 p.m., in the Moscow Community Center. Tom Hudson will
facilitate a discussion of proposed changes in rural-residential zoning
in the county. Participants will be asked for ideas on achieving some of
the goals of the comprehensive plan, such as "preserve the county's
rural character" and "provide a variety of housing types." More information
is available from the County Planning Department, 882-8580. There will
be other workshops around the county in February, including one in
Genesee on Feb. 8.
