Kay was right to bring up the pizza garbage downtown as a problem.
But there is even a bigger trash problem downtown--the old
coolers and other machinery behind the 3rd STreet Market (facing the post
office on Fourth). Not only very ugly, but a long term problem (been
there for more than a few years).
Worse than ugly (given how attractive that area could be with
benches, bushes, murals, etc).
Also a major danger to kids. Lots of nice sharp edges, etc.
Inviting things to climb on. Not cool to fall against while riding on
bikes etc.
Big drag.
