Perhaps we parents can propose an agenda of topics we would like to
discuss with the Moscow School Board of Education. Such as:
a. social promotion
b. discipline
c. curriculum integrity
d. ... add some more ...

I have discussed these topics one-on-one with various members of the
education village (administrators, board members, teachers, parents) and
I hear them voice support for change/reform. However, nothing seems to
happen (imperceptible glacial movements may occur).

I believe these are intelligent, honest persons who want to do what is
best for our children. Would it help them get started on real reform, if
we citizens attended a board meeting, with a formal agenda?

I only know of one board member who reads/contributes to this group.
