I guess where I rode my bicycle and where you rode your's were not the
same place. I never had a problem getting fram Arlington Va. into the
District. Nor did I have any difficulty getting from Arlington to
Alexandria or Chrystal City. There are also wide bike/ped paths that are
on either side of the Bridge leading to 'K' street. I stand firm in my
beleif that they blue prints from these areas should be requested and
viewed to help in constructing longtime useable bike/pedestrian paths.
If an area as populated as that of the District and surrounding areas can
share commuter paths, then surely this little town can step into the
future and do the same. Ya think? We seem to be attempting to do that
with everything else in this town, soon we just may have the same
population if we do not get a grip. But as you are fully aware that is
a spur in my heal so I won't "go there".
