REMINDER: Meeting tonight. We'll spend about 10 minutes at the beginning

The December meeting of Vision 2020 will be at 7:30 p.m., Monday Dec. 11,
in the Community Center -- first floor of City Hall, 3rd and Washington.
The program will be "Help Design Your County" presented by the Latah
County Planning Commission.
PC Chair Paul Kimmell from Viola will be there for sure. Others expected
to attend are commissioners Mike Frederickson of Moscow and Walter Wiegand
of Potlatch, described as the most pro-property rights member of the PC.
This is one of a series of informal meetings by the Commission to collect
reactions to various proposals to change regulation of rural residential
construction in the county. Among the questions that might be asked are
how to deal with demand for rural housing while preserving the county's
agricultural base and rural character.
We have promised the Commission there will be at least 10 people, so spread
the word... bring anyone with an interest in this issue. There will be
handouts at the meeting that describe some of the options being considered,
but if you'd like more information beforehand, you can pick up a flier at
the county planner's office.
