Tale of 2 Cities

A 4-week series titled "A Tale of 2 Cities: Evolving Community on the
Palouse" begins Sept. 14. The series will provide a chance to learn
more about Moscow and Pullman, and each town's sense of community.

Here is the schedule:
* Sept. 14 -- Where have we been? Understanding Our Roots
* Sept. 21 -- Where Are We Now? Exploring Our Sense of Community
* Sept. 28 -- The Good City, the Good Life: Enjoying Community
The speaker is Dan Kemmis, mayor of Missoula, Mont.
* Oct. 5 -- Where Are We Going? Envisioning Our Future

The Sept. 14 and 28 programs are at Gladish Auditorium, Pullman.
The Sept. 21 and Oct. 5 programs are at the Moscow Community Center.
All sessions begin at 7:30 p.m.

The series is free. However, seating at the Community Center is limited,
and preference will be given to people who register in advance. To
register, call the UI Community Enrichment Program at 885-6486.
