It is my understanding that we again have two vacancies on the
Moscow Planning and Zoning Commission. It is extremely important that these
positions be filled in a timely fashion, so that the commission can get on
with its work.
The P&Z workload is a nontrivial committment. There are usually two
evening meetings per month (the second and fourth Wednesday nights of the
month) lasting 2 to 3 hours. In addition, there are subcommittee meetings,
and additional meeting preparation time. On the other hand, this is an
ideal way to have a real effect on what happens in the community.
