re: Roger's questions about affordable housing: What have places like
Boulder done to assure that part of the new housing built is for low
and moderate-income families? Haven't some communities required developers
to spend X % of their land on housing at the bottom of the market? Or could
there be a point system that would allow them one more lot in Moser's 23rd
addition in return for contributing to an affordable housing pool?
It would be good to get some of these ideas on the table so that our
managed-growth arguments don't sound elitist.
