Just a reminder for those interested in passing on messages about
group activities, meetings, etc
The Moscow Food Co-op Community News (which I edit) reaches 1500
families monthly. And likely an elite audience (meaning high community
awareness and political motivation).
The back page of the newsletter contains short (like 15 words)
announcements of meetings etc of local interest. Those should be written
or typed and left at the Co-op (upstairs in the newsletter slot in the
office--ask anyone for the location of said slot) by the 25th of the
month for publication in the next month.
Articles inside can be diatribes of political persuasiveness,
warnings, longer messages of interest, etc. All articles must be typed
or written legibly, with by-line and contact phone number for author
(the number will not be published), and not focus on a single political
candidate or ballot measure. Articles are due the 20th of the month.
The newsletters are distributed free throughout Moscow and
Pullman, as well as given at the Co-op. There is no charge, of course,
for back page or inside submissions.
