I would like to take some of the council around with a db meter: I bet
kids playing on the swings exceed 75 decibels. Also: is MPD now going to
equip its officers with decibel meters? (They can hang them on their
belts next to their 9mms.) Who will be in charge of calibration of these
meters? Seems a very poorly thought-out ordinance.

No, many people are genuinely afraid of any kind of diversity (read: us
vs. them.)

To paraphrase Ron Reagan: Mr. Neighbor, tear down this wall!
