Sounds like a PR/media problem to me.....You are right, its seems like
the majority of newbies are here b/c of their fed-up-ness with the environment
they are leaving. They're comming here b/c of the life quality, but
they're not tuned into the local issues yet. Not seeing that we're just
a few decades behind LA.

Me either, but for different reasons (which I'm not really sure about...)
Seems kind of pointless unless you can take the extreme of faceing jail;
which is too extreme for me. Sad trade-off, let cove/mallard go b/c I
can't trade of the area for the next few years of life......

But elections have their own problems, and elections aren't going to stop
the corporate ravaging of the land and society.....the electee's tend to
listen to the loudest voice, and loudness is a funciton of $'s and Jobs
and religion and controlled insanity.....
