I am interested in John's (? or Priscilla's) comment that he much prefers
the electronic communication. There has been much hand wringing over people
who are computer-handicapped and how can we get them involved, and how the
listserver is not fair to them. The point of John's comment is that there
are people who are meeting-handicapped and doing things at meetings is
equally unfair to them.
I will go out on a limb, and claim that there are far more people who are
meeting-handicapped than those who are computer-handicapped. Therefore it
is important to get those who don't do meetings involved.
